Known as “The Abnormal Beauty Company”, DECIEM is the parent company of The Ordinary, NIOD, and other beauty brands & is an industry disruptor with a science first approach to innovation. DECIEM was Co-Founded in 2013 by the late Brandon Truaxe, a visionary who set out to change the beauty industry through authenticity and transparency. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst - OPEX to join our Financial Planning and Analytics team. This is a full-time, permanent position that will be based out of our Head Office in Liberty Village. We offer a hybrid working schedule of work 2-days a week in-office and 3-days a week work from home.
WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual Opex financial performance.

Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.

Develop and maintain financial models to meet reporting requirements for business units and the Estee Lauder Parent Company.

Conduct YOY and budget/Forecast variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance.

Support the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop accurate and achievable budgets.

Monitor and track budget performance, identifying and addressing variances and Assist in the preparation of budget presentations for senior management.

Develop and maintain rolling forecasts to provide ongoing financial visibility.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and incorporate relevant data into forecasts.

Identify trends and provide strategic recommendations to improve financial outcomes.

Act as a liaison between the FP&A team and Reporting department to ensure alignment and effective communication.

Manage Financial Dimensions & Account Structures in D365
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE
-
5+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst withing FP&A
-
Experience in a CPG/Retail industry is preferred
-
Highly collaborative and ability to work with cross functional teams in a global environment
-
Relevant education in Finance & Accounting (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA) or another relevant field OR equivalent work experience is an asset
-
Analytical thinking ability to tackle a problem by using a logical, systematic, sequential approach
