Our exclusive client, a reputable organization that has been around for over 75 years, located in the East End, is looking for a Receiver to join their team.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Safety Conscious
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar position
- Previous experience operating a forklift
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently/in a team
- Must be able and willing to learn
- Capable of lifting up to 50lbs
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Operating a forklift to load and unload product(s) from trucks
- Inspecting and counting items that are received ensuring accuracy
- Unpacking received goods into appropriate areas throughout warehouse
- Directing delivery trucks and helping drivers unload goods
- Preparing transfers and deliveries for customers
- Loading the materials into company and customer vehicles
- Replenishing the active stock in the warehouse and front counter area
- Ensuring cleanliness of the warehouse and yard, making sure stock is stored in an orderly fashion
- Providing back-up support to the counter to assist customers
- Picking and packing orders for customers
- Lifting up to 50lbs
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned

Wage: $22.50 per hour
