A Day in the Life
Coordinate recruitment and staffing for site-based positions
Attract and recruit top talent through resume review, sourcing, pre-screening, interviewing, and assessments in partnership with hiring managers
Present job offers to qualified candidates and guide them through the hiring process
Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the ATS, and associated spreadsheets ensuring a professional candidate experience
Coordinate interviews and communicate results to applicants
Compile and share weekly recruitment statistics and insights
Support internal HR processes and contribute to recruitment strategy improvements
Represent PTW at job fairs, networking events, and on social media to promote our employer brand
Experience Requirements
Previous experience in a similar recruitment role within the construction or industrial trades sector
Strong time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
A collaborative team player who can also work independently
Special Conditions of Employment
Must have experience as a Trades/Industrial/Construction Recruiter
Knowledge of the Alberta market is essential
Knowledge of the BC and Saskatchewan markets is an asset
Additional Information
This is an in office position based outside of Calgary, AB with no access to public transit. The successful candidate will work a 7:00am to 4:00pm or 7:30am to 4:30pm shift. Rotational weekend will be required and compensated accordingly.
