Reporting to the Sr. Leadership Team, you will provide support to a mix of recruitment and human resources activities. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for supporting the company’s ambitious growth needs evaluating and championing all people, culture, talent, and organizational strategies to build a scalable foundation to support North American and International growth.

Your Role in a Nutshell
Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will provide executive-level leadership, strategy and guidance pertaining to all human resources operations, recruitment, and activities. A self-driven leader, with a high degree of empathy, curiosity, compassion, and strategic acumen. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for supporting the company’s ambitious growth needs evaluating and championing all people, culture, talent, and organizational strategies to build a scalable foundation to support North American and International growth.
Scope of Duties
- Manage the full recruitment cycle: sourcing, screenings, interviews, negotiation, and reference checks
- Identify, source, and maintain a pipeline of candidates through a variety of platforms: social media, job boards, networking, headhunting, external agencies, etc.
- Creatively build new recruitment strategies capable of attracting top talents
- Complete weekly status reports
- Work closely with senior leaders to establish hiring needs within the company.
- Participate in internal company initiatives such as social media campaigns, culture events, etc.
- Help with the establishment of human resources processes, onboarding forms and documentation.
- Assist in staff onboarding and developing materials to remain an employer of choice in technology.
What You Offer
- A degree or diploma from a recognized institution or equivalent work history
- Completed (or working toward) CHRP designation is an asset.
- A minimum of 2 years experience in human resources combined and talent acquisition
- Experience in leading human resources initiatives to support business growth objectives
- Hands-on work ethic, with a “roll-up the sleeve’s” attitude with a passion for managing the details within a growing business
- A humble, approachable demeanour that builds trusts across all levels of the organization
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
