The Opportunity

RVS invites you to apply for a temporary full-time (1.0 FTE) Temporary High School Science/Math and Leadership teaching position starting August 27, 2026 to June 15, 2027 at Bow Valley High School.

This position is not open to those holding a Continuing Teaching contract with RVS.

Pre-employment Requirements

Applicants must possess or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate. To be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate you must have applied for initial certification with Alberta Education at .
New/Recent Graduates Only : In lieu of a reference letter please submit your final practicum report.

External Applicants must provide a professional letter of reference, attached to the job application, from their most recent supervisor, relevant to the job opportunity, written on company letterhead, signed and dated within the past 18 months; or a list of updated references of a current/recent supervisor on your application.
The successful candidate must submit a current Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check within 30 days of the start of your employment.
