Position Summary:
Reporting to the Branch Manager the Driver, Propane provides support by performing daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspection and performs minor maintenance tasks on commercial vehicles when necessary. A key component of this role entails delivering fuel safely, under policy, and as directed by dispatch. Additionally, customer service is imperative in this role. Parkland Fuel Corp takes pride in ensuring we deliver exceptional customer service at all times. This role requires flexibility in your work schedule. We cater to the needs and requirements of our client base. Overtime is expected in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
Documenting customer usage.
Refueling customer tanks of varying sizes.
Ensuring that periodic scheduled vehicle maintenance is completed and reported.
Maintain effective communication with all business units.
Prepares trip, accident and incident reports as necessary.
Providing other services as requested by management when not engaged in transportation service.
Other projects as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:
Class 3 license with an abstract acceptable to the Employer.
Propane delivery experience is an asset.
BC Crane ticket is an asset
Ability to read, understand and adhere to the rules and regulations of the Federal and Provincial Governments. Understand log book recording and regulatory compliance.
Computer proficiency is required in this role (Microsoft office and databases)
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Previous experience working in customer service.
Ability to problem solve.
Knowledge of surrounding area is required.
Ability to establish effective professional relationships with customers and co-workers.
Ability to prepare concise and accurate records and reports.
Ability to recognize vehicle maintenance needs and to perform basic vehicle repairs.
Possess reasoning skills to interpret policies and procedures, maps, and route directions.
Must meet physical and medical requirements, pass substance abuse screening, and agree to random substance abuse screenings as required by Company Policy.
