Responsibilities
- Safely operate AZ-rated commercial trucks across long-haul routes throughout the USA, adhering to all traffic laws and safety standards
- Load, secure, and unload freight using forklifts and other heavy equipment when necessary
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and freight documentation in accordance with legal requirements
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse teams to coordinate deliveries and pickups
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting minor mechanical issues to minimize downtime
- Assist with freight handling, including securing loads and verifying shipment accuracy before departure
Skills
- Valid AZ commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial driving, especially long-haul routes across the USA
- Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and securing cargo for transit
- Basic automotive repair skills for troubleshooting mechanical issues on the road
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
- Physical ability to handle freight, operate heavy machinery, and perform inspections as needed
