Community Mental Health and Addiction Services in Brooks, Alberta, is looking for a dedicated and compassionate professional with strong organizational skills to join our team in the permanent part-time role of Administrative Support III. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mental health and addiction challenges, exceptional communication skills, comprehensive working knowledge of office programs and a high level of empathy helping to address issues and concerns. Working under minimal guidance and direction, the Administrative Support III utilizes enhanced skills to perform duties such as greeting clients at the front desk, booking/rebooking appointments for clients in-person and by phone, or making reminder calls to clients, and other office tasks such as filing, photocopying, faxing, document scanning, and typing is required. The position also provides backup for other Administrative Supports in the program as well as any other administrative duties as assigned.
As an Administrative Support III, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:
The applicant for the Administrative Support III position will possess comprehensive practical working knowledge of various Microsoft programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams. Proficiency in MS Teams and Zoom for virtual meetings is also required. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, adaptability to different software systems, and the ability to efficiently manage digital communication and documentation. Comfort with multitasking, prioritizing, and flexibility in the face of frequent interruptions. The successful applicant demonstrates a proficiency to join the administrative team and help to maintain a collaborative environment with Manager, Clinical Supervisor, and Administrative Support IV. Preferred Qualifications:
Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Certification. Five years of experience in a reception or front-line client service environment. Ability to communicate effectively in English and at least one other language is considered an asset.
