Social Experience Ambassador
Location: IDK SocialBar – Toronto, ON
About the Role
IDK SocialBar is launching a new interactive nightlife experience focused on conversation, social connection, games, and guest engagement.
We are seeking energetic, outgoing, and personable individuals who enjoy meeting new people and creating memorable guest experiences.
As a Social Experience Ambassador, your primary role is to help guests feel welcome, encourage participation in social activities, and contribute to a fun and engaging atmosphere.
Compensation
- Ontario minimum wage (base pay)
- Tips participation
- Guest engagement incentives
- Performance-based commissions
Typical earnings may exceed $25–$60+ per hour, including incentives and tips, depending on performance and guest participation.
ResponsibilitiesGuest Engagement
- Welcome and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Create a fun, inclusive, and energetic environment
- Facilitate conversations and social interaction among guests
- Build relationships with repeat customers
Experience Facilitation
- Participate in games and social activities
- Help organize icebreakers and group interactions
- Encourage guest participation in a respectful and non-pressured manner
- Maintain positive energy throughout the evening
Venue Promotion
- Invite potential guests to visit the venue
- Promote upcoming events and experiences
- Help build awareness of the IDK SocialBar brand
Requirements
- Must be legally eligible to work in Ontario
- Smart Serve certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable engaging with groups of people
- Availability during evenings and weekends
Interview Process
Round 1: Virtual or phone introduction (5–10 minutes)
Round 2: In-person interview at IDK SocialBar (15–20 minutes)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.60 per hour
