Position Overview
D. Floyd Construction is seeking Experienced Concrete Formworkers to join our dynamic team. This position will include year-round work, and an opportunity to make an impact on some of Calgary's most meaningful projects!
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the construction and installation of custom formwork
- Read and interpret blueprints to execute projects accurately
- Set concrete forms and tie rebar
- Perform concrete placing, pouring, and finishing
- Work independently while meeting project timelines and quality standards
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a productive job site
- Follow all company safety protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Assist with other duties as required
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a concrete formworker
- Ability to build custom entry features without supervision
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Experience with forming, rebar, and concrete finishing
- Strong leadership and teamwork abilities
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Commitment to workplace safety
- MUST have a clean driving license
Pay and Benefits
- $28.00 - $34.00/hour, based on experience
- Comprehensive benefits package, including 90% employer-paid coverage, available after 3 months

Schedule
- 8 to 10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday (7:00 – 4:30)
- Overtime pay available for additional hours worked
- Weekend work may be necessary due to the nature of the work
- 12 months per year – we work throughout winter!
