Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Lawn Maintenance Field Supervisor to lead our landscaping team. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring high-quality landscape maintenance, and managing team members to deliver exceptional outdoor environments. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily lawn and landscape maintenance activities, including mowing, trimming, planting, and fertilizing.
- Oversee irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure efficient water use and healthy plant growth.
- Lead gardening and horticultural tasks such as planting, pruning, mulching, and pest control to maintain aesthetic appeal.
- Train and mentor team members on proper techniques, safety procedures, and equipment operation.
- Schedule work assignments and monitor progress to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding project updates, maintenance schedules, and recommendations for landscape improvements.
Skills
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture, or related fields.
- Strong supervisory skills with previous supervising or leadership experience in landscaping or construction projects.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, installation, troubleshooting, and repair techniques.
- Familiarity with landscape construction processes and materials.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills for team coordination and client interactions.
- Ability to lead by example with a focus on safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction.
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to operate landscaping equipment safely.
