Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Sewing Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating sewing machines to produce high-quality textile products. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the production process with precision and efficiency. Prior experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate. Experience with hand sewing is an asset.
Duties
- Operate sewing machines to assemble, repair, or alter textile products according to specifications
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow safety guidelines and company policies at all times
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
Qualifications
- Previous experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments is preferred
- Basic knowledge of sewing machines and textile production processes is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Must be able to pass any required background checks or assessments related to safety and quality standards
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
