Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Manager - Operations to oversee and coordinate daily business activities within our designated region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, leading teams, and fostering business growth. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise multiple teams across various locations within the area to ensure operational efficiency and high performance
- Develop and implement strategic plans to meet sales targets and expand business development opportunities
- Oversee project management initiatives, ensuring timely completion within budget and scope
- Drive process improvement initiatives to optimize workflows, reduce costs, and enhance service quality
- Foster a positive work environment by providing leadership, coaching, and mentorship to managers and staff
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports for senior management to inform decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to streamline operations and improve customer satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Skills
- Proven experience in sales and business development with a track record of expanding market presence
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with previous supervising experience in a fast-paced environment
- Expertise in process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma is highly desirable
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to analyze data, develop strategies, and implement effective solutions
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
