We're looking for a dependable, hardworking cook to join our team at Bâton Rouge Kanata. If you take pride in your food, work well in a fast-paced kitchen, and enjoy being part of a strong team, we'd love to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items to Bâton Rouge recipe and presentation standards
- Run your station efficiently during service (grill, sauté, broil, or garde manger)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work station
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and allergen procedures
- Receive, rotate, and store product using proper FIFO practices
- Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver a great guest experience
- Assist with prep, opening and closing duties, and scheduled cleaning tasks
What We're Looking For
- Previous line cook or full-service restaurant experience preferred
- Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Strong knife skills and attention to detail
- Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain one)
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and works well under pressure
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic—we value teamwork and professionalism
