Overview
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Summer Student General Labourer to join our team. This role is essential in supporting various operational tasks, ensuring smooth workflow and maintaining a safe, productive environment. The ideal candidate is physically capable, adaptable, and eager to contribute to a dynamic work setting. Prior experience is not required, as training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading materials, supplies, and equipment
- Support the setup and cleanup of work areas for different projects or tasks
- Perform general manual labour such as lifting, carrying, and moving items as directed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work site to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Collaborate with team members to complete assigned tasks efficiently and effectively
- Operate basic tools and equipment as needed, with training provided
Skills
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labour tasks throughout the shift
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well within a team environment
- Good communication skills for effective coordination with colleagues and supervisors
- Adaptability to various tasks and work conditions in a fast-paced setting
- Basic understanding of safety practices; willingness to learn safety procedures is essential
