Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Forklift Operator/Warehouse Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing warehouse operations, including the safe operation of various equipment such as forklifts and order pickers. Key Responsibilties:
- Operate forklifts and order pickers safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
- Assist with warehouse distribution tasks, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
- Conduct heavy lifting of items as needed, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Use warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, update records, and process shipments.
- Perform order picking with precision to fulfill customer orders accurately and promptly.
- Maintain mechanical knowledge of equipment to perform routine inspections and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Support inventory counts and organize stock in designated storage areas.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution and logistics operations.
- Certification or experience operating clamp trucks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to understand equipment functions and perform basic maintenance.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems for inventory control and order processing.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and measurements.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking during shifts.
- Excellent attention to detail for accurate order picking and inventory management.
