Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable using modern dental technology, including iTero digital scanning systems and knowledgeable in Dentrix dental software.
Responsibilities:
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing and sealants.
Conduct oral health assessments and periodontal charting
Take dental digital radiographs (X-rays: PAN/ CEPH/ BW’s, PA’s )
Use iTero intraoral scanner for digital impressions and patient education
Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventative care
Maintain accurate patient records
Follow infection control and sterilization protocols
Requirements:
Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in [Ontario ]
Minimum [1] year of experience preferred
Experience using iTero intraoral scanner (required or considered an asset)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with dental software systems [ Dentrix ]
Current CPR/First Aid certification
