Tech & Data Systems Coordinator
Organization: AceConnex Inc. Location: Mississauga, Ontario hybrid Employment type: Full-time Reports to: Project Director
About AceConnex
AceConnex Inc. is a workforce development organization serving Ontario's advanced manufacturing sector. We connect jobseekers — including newcomers and people from underrepresented groups — with employers and post-secondary partners through a series of hiring and skills events.
We are building a digital platform to power participant engagement, connections between jobseekers and employers, and outcome tracking across the project, and we're looking for someone to anchor the technology and data behind it.
About the Role
The Tech & Data Systems Coordinator owns the day-to-day delivery of the AceConnex platform and the data systems that support the project. This is a coordination and oversight role rather than a heads-down development role: you'll manage external developers and vendors, keep the platform and delivery tools running smoothly, and make sure clean, reliable data flows from our events into our reporting. You'll work closely with the Project Director and the wider project team.
This is a hands-on role with real ownership. You won't necessarily be writing the bulk of the code, but you'll need enough technical fluency to scope work, brief developers, test what they deliver, and troubleshoot when things break.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate development and ongoing maintenance of the AceConnex platform, managing external web developers and vendors against timelines and budget
- Own the project's delivery technology stack — CRM, hosting, and related subscriptions — including setup, administration, and renewals
- Build and maintain data systems for tracking participant attendance, interviews, employer engagement, and outcomes across all project events
- Ensure data is captured cleanly and consistently so it can support funder (SDF) reporting requirements
- Translate project needs into clear technical requirements for developers, and review and test their work before launch
- Maintain a manual or backup process for capturing event data so delivery is never dependent on a single system being live
- Troubleshoot platform and tool issues, acting as the first point of contact for technical problems during events
- Support the team with data exports, dashboards, and reporting as needed
Qualifications
Required
- Experience coordinating digital/web projects, including managing external developers or vendors
- Strong working knowledge of CRM platforms and web hosting/subscription tools

- Comfort with spreadsheets and data tools; able to clean, organize, and report on data accurately
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially around record-keeping and compliance
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical people
Assets
- Experience in a grant-funded or publicly funded project, with awareness of reporting and documentation requirements
- Familiarity with the workforce development, employment services, or post-secondary sector
- Basic technical/coding literacy sufficient to test features and diagnose issues
- Experience supporting live events or programs
