We are currently seeking a Casual RAI Coordinator to join our team at Maynard Nursing Home located in Toronto, Ontario.

Supports and embraces a resident-centered social culture
Possesses excellent time management and organizational skills
Demonstrates skill with computers (PointClickCare, MS Word, internet, and office equipment)
Works well independently and as a co-operative team member
Communicates effectively with others
Demonstrated experience in planning, coordinating, and leading nursing team members
Holds current Heart Save Level of CPR
Current registration as a Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Previous experience completing RAI-MDS coding
Geriatric nursing experience preferred
Current AIS certificate required
RNAO membership is desirable
The hiring process may include technical competency exercise/test
Able to cope with the physical, mental, and emotional demands of the job
The RAI Coordinator directs all aspects of the RAI implementation process including training and ongoing support and organization for resident assessments. The RAI Coordinator will monitor and provide on-site support to all RAI-MDS users and will ensure a resident assessment schedule is developed, completed, updated, and accessible to all RAI users. They will mentor and teach team members the RAI process.
