We’re looking for a Sales Development Representative
Entrust is looking for an ambitious and sales driven individual to join its Payment & Identity Sales team. We are seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to identify, qualify, and nurture potential customers for our Payment & Identity offerings in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC). As the initial point of contact, the Sales Development Representative (SDR) will establish trust, build relationships, and create new sales opportunities with prospects.
As the first line of communication with prospects, the ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Sales or Business Development role and will excel at researching leads, starting new relationships, and developing outbound sales opportunities. Strong communication skills, and the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way will be key to success in this position.
The role will report to the LAC Channel Manager and will work closely with Sales Executives and partners in the region.
How you will make an impact:
Conduct outbound sales discovery and lead prospecting activities for Entrust's Payments & Identity solutions.
Clearly articulate the unique value proposition of Entrust's Payments & Identity solutions through various communication methods (phone, web, etc.) to existing customers, prospects, and LAC channel partners. The creation of succinct and compelling messaging which addresses prospect and customer pain points and needs will be key to success in this role.
Manage and follow up on Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) received from Marketing, providing feedback and progressing MQLs to Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs).
Identify key decision-makers, timeline, and budget potential to map qualified prospects. Ask qualifying questions to identify the correct prospect contact.
Engage in daily prospecting efforts to generate new sales leads within the assigned territory, leveraging referrals from existing customers, inbound leads, cold calling, and collaboration with other territory managers. Prospecting will be carried out via telephone, email and social media utilizing the companies lead generation and sales engagement tools which may include Salesloft, Zoominfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
Facilitate meaningful introductions between Account Executives or Partners and new prospects.
Maintain comprehensive client information, including call records and account status, in SalesForce CRM to enhance consistency in client approach.
Recognize market trends and report customer feedback on product enhancements to the broader team during scheduled sales meetings.
Contribute to growing the sales pipeline by prospecting installed base accounts, key named accounts, and executing territory plans, sales strategies, and forecasts.
Effectively manage timelines and follow-up efforts.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
Prospecting and qualification experience within Sales / Business Development
Proficient in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Customer-focused with strong organizational, time management, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with standard corporate productivity tools (Microsoft Office Suite, email, phone skills)
Ability to quickly learn and navigate new technology products and service enhancements.
Ability to identify customer needs and articulate solutions
Ability to build client relationships over the phone
Ability to maintain a positive attitude in the face of criticism, rejection, or failure.
Must be able to legally work within the country of residence and have unrestricted work authorization for that country.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Previous success in prospecting, building a sales pipeline, moving opportunities through the sales cycle, and presenting and discussing solutions with C-level and other decision-makers.
Knowledge and experience of the IT and Fintech industry
Experience in use of CRM such as SFDC, online sales, and marketing tools
