Director, Customer Finance
Provide financial support to Customer Development team to achieve corporate strategy and annual targets
Build strong relationships with the Sales and Marketing teams to drive the successful implementation of identified optimization opportunities.
Responsibility of Channel P&L analytics (Including Customer level and Brand P&L)
Standard Gross Margin
Customer Level Promotional Programs
Pricing and Rebates Spend
Revenue / Net Sales
Perform price change impact analysis, including GM risk and profitability assessments
Analyze new contract requests for alignment with pricing strategies and account growth objectives.
Accountable for developing and coordinating budgets and forecast, including coordination with demand planning team.
Prepare Week/Month/Quarter/Year Channel variance analysis
Provide active leadership in financial processes, liaise with shared services and other departments to ensure process efficiencies, reporting accuracies and timely issue resolution
Provide financial support for Customer Business Reviews – accountable for timely and accurate reviews
Provide ad-hoc reporting and analyses to drive business decisions
8+ years of finance experience, preferably with a CPG company
3+ years of pricing and trade management experience
strong understanding of product gross margin, food manufacturing and distribution costs
Strong business acumen
University degree in Finance, preferably with CPA designation
Excellent communication skills and ability to work across multiple functions and levels
Must be able to work independently in a fast paced environment
Highly confident and disciplined
Creative in approach to problem solving
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel
