Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finishing Carpenter to join our growing team. As a Finishing Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing a variety of finish carpentry tasks to restore and enhance residential and commercial properties. Your expertise will be essential in delivering high-quality results that meet our clients' expectations.
Responsibilities:
* Install trim, baseboards, crown molding, and other decorative elements.
* Fit and install doors, windows, and hardware.
* Construct and install cabinets, shelving, and built-in furniture.
* Repair or replace damaged wood components.
* Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
* Ensure all work meets quality standards and building codes.
* Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Finishing Carpenter.
* Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
* Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and materials.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
* Excellent attention to detail and precision.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Valid driver’s license.
* Certification or formal training in carpentry is a plus.
