ACCU-STAFF is currently recruiting a Quality Technician on behalf of a leading manufacturing organization in Brampton, Ontario. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to maintaining the highest quality standards.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Quality Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring products meet both customer and internal quality requirements throughout the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing dimensional, visual, and surface finish inspections to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and specifications
- Reviewing and dispositioning non-conforming material and customer returns
- Collecting, analyzing, and reporting quality-related data to support production and quality assurance initiatives
- Preparing and testing samples to verify product performance and material properties
- Supporting PPAP documentation and customer quality submissions
- Conducting hardness testing and quality audits
- Assisting with the training and development of production employees on quality standards and procedures
- Maintaining accurate quality records and inspection documentation
- Collaborating with production, engineering, sales, and tooling teams to improve product quality and process performance
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the facility
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment
What We're Looking For
We are seeking a motivated quality professional who is detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about manufacturing excellence.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary diploma in Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, or a related field
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment is considered an asset
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and ERP systems
- Experience with quality documentation and inspection processes
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency using precision measuring instruments and mechanical testing equipment
- Understanding of calibration processes and quality standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Knowledge of health and safety practices within a manufacturing environment
Working Conditions
- Manufacturing plant environment
- Rotating continental shifts (12-hour schedule)
- Exposure to heat and industrial noise
- Overtime as required
