Job Overview
We are seeking a couple of dedicated, skilled Line Cooks to join our culinary team at the James Bay (425 Quebec St) location!
The ideal candidates will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, with a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests while maintaining the efficiency and cleanliness of the kitchen.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and plating guides.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining quality and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment with an emphasis on CAYG mentality
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, especially breakfast eggs-perience!
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques and kitchen equipment. Slicers, robot-coupe, griddles, fryers, immersion blenders, etc.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Valid Foodsafe is a must!
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. We are a high-volume establishment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
