Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to provide essential care and assistance to individuals in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private homes. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications accurately as prescribed and monitor health status
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting mental well-being
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and assist with feeding if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment
- Support clients with mobility and transfers using proper techniques and assistive devices
- Document care provided and report any changes in health or behavior to supervisors or healthcare professionals
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures to ensure client safety and well-being
Requirements
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care environments is preferred
- Knowledge of senior care, dementia care, working with individuals with disabilities, and medication administration is highly desirable
- Compassionate nature with excellent caregiving skills and patience
- Ability to perform light cleaning and meal preparation tasks efficiently
- Valid certification or training in caregiving is an asset; willingness to obtain necessary certifications if required
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; reliable transportation is preferred but not mandatory

Pay: $22.45-$32.45 per hour
