Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, guiding them through their vehicle service experience. Your mechanical knowledge and dealership experience will help you accurately assess vehicle needs, communicate effectively, and ensure a smooth, positive service process from start to finish.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and listen carefully to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
- Explain repair and maintenance options clearly, offering recommendations for additional services such as upselling when appropriate
- Coordinate with technicians to schedule repairs and ensure timely completion of services
- Provide accurate estimates, process cash handling transactions, and manage service orders efficiently
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any questions or concerns
- Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions, repairs performed, and parts used
- Promote services and products to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
Skills
- Proven experience with a strong understanding of automotive repair processes
- Mechanical knowledge gained through mechanic experience or technical training
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers of all backgrounds
- Sales aptitude with experience in upselling automotive services and products
- Proficiency in cash handling, billing, and administrative tasks
