Due to our long term and sustained growth, we are currently looking for 4 full time Production workers to join our Manufacturing Operations team. The Production worker is responsible for performing diversified duties to manufacture mineral insulated cable products under the supervision of the Production Lead Operator and according to safety, SOPs and productive maintenance processes to support the achievement of the business goals and objectives. The ability to interact with staff in a 24/7 365 environment, while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role.
Responsibilities
- Perform diversified duties to manufacture mineral insulated cable products.
- Receive oral instructions to determine work assignments.
- Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
- Read and interpret work orders to perform required processes and products.
- Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually or using powered equipment.
- Troubleshoot production problems and may assist with minor repairs and maintenance.
- Adjustments to production equipment.
- Complete production schedules with attention to safety and quality.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools.
- Comply with safety regulations and follow business processes.
Qualifications
- Manufacturing experience is Preferred;
- High School Diploma - Post-secondary education or certification is preferred;
- Ability to work as part of a team and also be self-motivated
- Strong knowledge of machines and hand tools;
- English communication skills (written and verbal) are preferred – ability to receive and communicate information accurately and timely;
- Legally able work in Canada;
- Highly motivated to contribute to the Manufacturing team goals and objects and able to work independently;
- Ability to work shift work with the potential of overtime (evening/weekend) based on business needs.
Work Environment / Physical Demands:
100% shop environment. Position requires ability to walk throughout warehouse/shop/stock yard area. Heavy lifting is required; 50lbs alone and up to 80 lbs. with the help of others. Hot environment.

- Manufacturing: 1-5 years preferred but training will be offered.
