Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-time Supply Early Childhood Assistant (ECA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to providing a nurturing and educational environment. This role is essential in supporting classroom activities and ensuring that children receive the care and attention they need to thrive.
**Recent VSC, 2-step TB test, and First Aid required.
Duties
- Assist in the supervision of children during classroom activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Support lead educators in implementing lesson plans and educational activities tailored to early childhood development.
- Engage with children in a positive manner, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
- Help maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to promote a collaborative atmosphere.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance caregiving skills.
Experience
- Previous experience in caregiving or early childhood education is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with classroom settings and educational practices is beneficial.
- A genuine interest in educating young children and supporting their developmental needs is essential.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.55-$19.00 per hour
