Why this role is important?
To ensure a smooth/seamless transition of new business (LTCs, RHs and group homes) over to MediSystem Pharmacy across Ontario and Canada wide.
What You'll Do:
Travelling to LTCs, RHs and group homes to facilitate pharmacy transitions
Able to work odd hours and some weekends when necessary
Ensure the necessary Pharmacy technology is installed, tested and working for clients
Support Leads to Educate/Train Facility staff through in-service sessions
Maintain supplies and inventory levels required for new home start-ups
Preparing medication carts specific to facility needs
Preparing provisions contractually promised to new homes
Delivery of initial run cycle of medications for new home start-ups
Delivery of reports for Pharmacists involved in Consultant work for new home start-ups
Record keeping for tracking equipment
E-mail communication to all MediSystem departments regarding new home start status
Some heavy lifting required
What You'll Need:
High School Diploma
1-3 years related work or other relevant work experience
Verbal and written communication skills
Interpersonal and organizational skills
Presentation and problem-solving skills
Flexibility with work hours
Comfortable driving a cargo van
Basic computer and typing skills
Knowledge of Crystal reports (will train)
Knowledge of simple computer and fax machine install and set up (will train)
