Summary
The incumbent mainly participates in the supervision and coordination of continuous optimization (OCx) and recommissioning (RCx) mandates in various buildings. The candidate is motivated by energy consumption reduction, data processing, energy monitoring, technological developments. This person will be in charge of an energy analyst and will be responsible for defining the processes and orientations to ensure the success of the mandates.
Description
- Carry out and supervise energy analysis and recommissioning (RCx) mandates;
- Carry out consumption assessments (energy, water, greenhouse gases) and ASHRAE level I, II and III energy audits;
- Supporting clients in the subsidy process;
- Support and guide the operation teams in the continuous improvement of energy performance;
- Identify and support the implementation with the operation teams of ''low cost / no cost'' measures improving energy performance;
- Analyze, identify and recommend innovative and technological solutions to reduce consumption;
- Analyze and interpret historical energy consumption;
- Analyze installations and remotely monitor sites using the BAS system or other tools;
- Identify and implement demand management (DM) strategies;
- Carry out feasibility studies for energy saving projects;
- Train and guide junior analysts;
- Take charge of the execution of mandates independently;
- Any other related tasks requested by the immediate supervisor.
Requirements
- Be authorized to work in Canada;
- Able to qualify for a security screening;
- A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in building energy efficiency and/or building mechanics (all relevant experience will be considered);
- Advanced concepts in automatic building control;
- Experience in building operation and maintenance (an asset);
- Serving Canada and the United States, the role requires delivering services in the appropriate language to ensure smooth and adapted communication.
- French proficiency (spoken and written): Mastered;
- English proficiency (spoken and written): Mastered;
- Frequency of English use: Regular.
- Available for occasional travel;
- Versatile and demonstrates a good openness to collaborate on a variety of missions;
- Commercial attitude to meet customers.
