Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team in Toronto to aid executing strategic projects and help drive the successful delivery of our products. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading key initiatives, managing communication with internal and external stakeholders, tracking progress of all deliverables, managing risks and ensuring the timely and successful release of new features and updates.
This role is based in Toronto. Though we’re currently working remotely, we’re only considering candidates who reside in or are in easy reach of the GTA.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Create detailed project plans in collaboration with product, training and implementation, engineering, and senior staff to establish project scope, schedule, accountabilities, risk, monitoring and controls, and post project evaluation
- Manage communication with external and internal stakeholders
- Lead project management efforts for our web and mobile platforms using agile software development methodologies
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, design, and QA, T&I to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of projects and implementations
- Manage project scope and timelines, identify and mitigate risks, and drive continuous process improvement
- Drive business insight and demonstrate benefits of implemented initiatives to external stakeholders via data analysis, reporting, visualizations, etc.
- Oversee project teams
- Balance competing priorities and navigate changing requirements to deliver on commitments to customers while continuing to innovate and improve our product
- Ongoing tracking and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs) for all teams in the form of actionable dashboards
What You Bring
- 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in a software development environment using agile methodologies
- 2 years experience as Business Analyst preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation required
- Previous customer-facing project management highly preferred
- Previous team management experience an asset
- Familiarity with healthcare informatics, technologies, and systems highly preferred
- Demonstrated success in leading and delivering complex software projects on time and on budget
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
- Familiarity with release management processes and tools
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
- Detail-oriented and organized with strong time-management skills
