Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, proficiency with CNC machines, and experience in precision machining processes. This role offers an opportunity to work with advanced equipment and contribute to high-quality production projects in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Carry out machining activities as instructed by the Manager on a MANUAL Lathe Machine.
- Maintain machine equipment in good working order daily.
- Verify work completed by supporting quality assurance through measurements and fit (As required)
- Inform supervisor of the need to order materials as required
- Maintain a clean working area free from dirt and debris between tasks and at end of day
- Ensure high standards of workmanship and efficiency
- Set up, operate and maintain a variety of machine tools to perform precision, non-repetitive machining operations such as sawing, turning, milling, boring
- Lubricate, clean, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, and tools
- Closely monitor machines for signs of problems while ensuring output is meeting set specifications
- Communicate with supervisors, engineers, production control, quality, and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issue
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Machinist or in a similar manufacturing role with hands-on machining expertise
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in machining processes and equipment operation
- Proficiency in CNC programming, Fanuc controls, and troubleshooting CNC lathe and milling machines
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models accurately
- Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software is preferred
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and setup adjustments
- Knowledge of manufacturing safety standards and practices
- Ability to operate calipers, hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and forklifts safely
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is a plus

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
