We are a specialized supportive care organization that works with the Department of Seniors in Long Term Care (SLTC) to provide 24-hour services for residents in smaller, homelike settings. We have locations throughout HRM.
We are seeking an energized and committed LPN to join our team to direct and support our care team of RCW’s and CCA’s. We are looking for someone who wishes to provide active participation with resident care planning, medication management, review and implementation of policies and procedures, and supervision of staff.
This is a full-time role, primarily day shift, with occasional on-call weekends.
** A Nova Scotia drivers license is required **
Your day may be spent at one location or could be planned for shorter visits at 2 or 3 locations. Locations are within Halifax & Dartmouth. In addition to care and medication support for residents, this role will support the general manager in meeting all necessary licensing requirements along with the supervision of staff.

Key Responsibilities:
- Carries out duties while following established policies & procedures while working within their scope of practice
- Actively participates with implementing organizational goals as we constantly evolve to meet the needs & expectations of residents and SLTC
- Organizing required training sessions and staff meetings
- Completes all documentation and charting related to care of residents, including any incident
- Brings forward any concerns about resident or staff safety immediately to senior management
- Reconciles and administers medications according to care plan and MAR with documentation completed
- Participates with policy and procedure development
- Develops proactive communication strategy with staff
- Provides operational reports as required from time to time
Pay: $33.75 per hour
