Join our dynamic team at AGF where are committed to excellence in order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Order Picker to support our warehouse operations and ensure that our products are shipped accurately and efficiently.
JOB SUMMARY
As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for gathering items for shipment, completing the necessary paperwork, and managing incoming shipments. Your role will be crucial in maintaining the flow of goods and ensuring that our warehouse operations run smoothly.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Order fulfillment: Accurately pick items from pick locations based on pick lists, pack orders for shipping, wrap skids, and load/unload trucks.
Inventory Management: Put away incoming shipments into designated areas
Warehouse Maintenance: Perform light cleaning and upkeep of the warehouse as needed.
Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhere to safety guidelines and company policies, and follow quality control standards.
Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

1+ years of previous warehouse experience is an asset.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and positive attitude.

Ability to work effectively as a team player.

Forklift license is a plus.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND ABILITIES

Stationed at the distribution centre: 1725 Sargent Avenue

Shift hours are 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, however hours may change if necessary for the needs of the business.

Must be able to meet physical demands of the job such as lift 50lbs regularly.

Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Must be comfortable working in a noisy and dusty environment.

Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.

This is a position that requires CSA approved (green-label) safety shoes.

Must have clear criminal record check.
