Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selection
- Mix and garnish cocktails according to recipes or customer preferences
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Collect payment from customers and process transactions accurately
- Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol service
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries or concerns
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operation of the bar
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a bartender in a catering, brewing, restaurant, or food industry setting is preferred
- Knowledge of various drink recipes and mixing techniques
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and cashiering responsibilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating bills accurately
- Excellent hospitality skills to provide a welcoming atmosphere for customers
