Child Care Educator
Must have these minimum qualification requirements:
- Child Care Certificate (Only Level 2 or 3)
- Recent Criminal Report Check & Venerable Sector Check
- Child Intervention Check
- First Aid Certificate.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
- Must be a team player with imbued natural affection for children.
Key Responsibilities: Would include but not limited to the following
- To plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities based on emergent curriculum.
- To lead daily social, learning and physical activities for all children.
- To ensure the overall health and welfare of children at all times.
- To keep children active and engaged while they are in the classroom.
- To keep classroom clean, organized and stimulating for children.
- To understand and execute work task in accordance with Alberta childcare Licensing Regulations and Public Heath requirements.
- To make children, parents/ guardians & co-workers feel special & involved.
- To participate in professional development opportunities and staff meetings.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children would be a bonus.

- Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and team skills.
- Reliable, dependable and demonstrate professional integrity.
- Willingness to try new child teaching methods & techniques.
- Ability to remain calm in a challenging environment.
