Job Overview
We are seeking ECE level 2's and 3's to join our team of Early Childhood Educators in our open-play concept licensed childcare center and become a part of nurturing young and creative minds as well as support neurodiverse children excel forward and grow into the competent and capable little beings that they are.
In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where children can explore, learn, and develop essential skills. As well as support and oversee the children's program by providing support and direction for the Early Childhood Educators in planning and implementing play-based, open-ended learning activities and play experiences, and ensuring there is a safe, caring and welcoming environment for all children and their families that provide high quality childcare service. Duties
- Support Early Childhood Educators planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development and oversee children's program and activities.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and respect among children.
- Support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or special requirements, ensuring inclusive participation.
- Care for children’s basic needs such as feeding, diapering, and hygiene in a nurturing manner.
- Observe and document children's progress, sharing insights with parents and team members to support individualized learning.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom that adheres to health and safety standards at all times.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop learning experiences and participate in ongoing professional development.
- Manage staff programming schedule.
- Other responsibilities requested by the Director.
Skills
- Proven experience working with children in educational or childcare settings.
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles, Saskatchewan Childcare Regulations, and children's developmental milestones.
- Ability to provide compassionate and quality care for children while managing multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Ability to create engaging learning environments and plan play-based learning experiences and activities
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs to ensure inclusive support.
- Ability to communicate clearly and motivate young learners.
- Flexibility, patience, and enthusiasm for fostering a positive learning atmosphere for all.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and ongoing support for educators, students, and volunteers. Be a positive role model in implementing best childcare practices.

Pay: $22.70-$24.85 per hour
