As the face of Molkagtez, you are the first point of contact for every guest. We are looking for an energetic and professional individual to manage our floor, coordinate reservations, and set the tone for the authentic Mexican "fiesta" experience our guests expect. Your role is vital in maintaining the flow of our dining room, from the initial greeting to managing the lively, high-energy atmosphere that defines our waterfront location.
Key Responsibilities
Warm Welcomes: Greet every guest with enthusiasm and professionalism, ensuring they feel welcomed from the moment they arrive.
Floor Management: Efficiently manage the reservation book, walk-ins, and waitlists. Balance seating across the restaurant to ensure staff can provide high-quality service to all tables.
Atmosphere Coordination: Understand the vibrant nature of our environment. Assist in maintaining the flow of the room, especially during peak hours and special events.
Communication: Act as a central point of communication between guests, servers, and management. Handle phone inquiries, reservation requests, and general questions about our menu and event offerings.
Guest Experience: Support the team by ensuring tables are properly prepared, menus are clean, and special requests (such as birthday celebrations or dietary requirements) are communicated clearly to the service team.
Professionalism: Maintain a polished, professional appearance and demeanor, reflecting the high standards of the Molkagtez brand.
Qualifications
Experience: Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment is highly preferred. OpenTable preferred.
Personality: You are naturally outgoing, friendly, and thrive in high-energy environments.
Technical Skills: Ability to quickly learn and navigate restaurant reservation software (e.g., OpenTable).
Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills; comfortable interacting with a diverse clientele.
Reliability: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as these are our busiest and most vibrant times.
Team-Oriented: A strong desire to support your colleagues and contribute to a positive, cohesive team environment.
