Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pizza Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, with experience in the pizza shop. The Pizza Cook will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality pizzas while maintaining food safety standards and ensuring efficient kitchen operations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients according to recipes and quality standards
- Cook pizzas to perfection using appropriate methods and equipment
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety and sanitation regulations
- Assist in food preparation for other menu items as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Serve customers promptly and courteously when required
- Follow all food safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure freshness
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours
Requirements
- Previous experience in pizza preparation, cooking,
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting
- Strong attention to detail in meal preparation and presentation
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Basic understanding of the food industry standards for quality and safety
