Salary - Base hourly rate - $40.67 / hour (excluding RSB / OT)
Hourly rate with shift bonus paid on all hours worked-$42.89
Base Bi-weekly salary - $3253.77 (excluding RSB / OT)
Salary with shift bonus paid on all hours worked- $3602.80
Shift - 12 hour rotating continental shift - Crew to be determined
General Description:
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Process planning by interpreting conceptual design criteria and specifications to support CNC programming and tool design for production trials.
- Completing work assignments involving experience with 4 & 5 axis machining centers, blanks of high strength steel alloys, and any plating.
- Interpreting customer concepts and specifications and then developing accurate, robust, repetitive process plans and Catia/Pro-E models.
- To work directly with the Technology group regarding new code development
- To work with production and maintenance teams in implementing die trials
- To be an area expertise and support the manufacturing area during shutdowns and startups
- Abide by safe work standards both in the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) along with Goodyear's internal safety programs which include, but are not limited to Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO), Isolation and Control of Hazardous Energy
Basic Qualifications:
This posting is open to those possessing the following -
- Technical degree or equivalent combined with manufacturing experience.
- Expertise in close tolerance, precision CNC Machine Shop practices/operation.
- 2 - 3 years of manufacturing experience (operations, quality or engineering) would be preferred.
- A demonstrated history of successfully facilitating changes in a 24/7 operation that involves all levels of employees with measurable results.
- Personal computer skills in a networked environment required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Solid analytical, mathematical and computing skills (trigonometry, algebra, geometric and dimensional tolerancing),
- Proven ability to interpret customer concepts and specifications and then develop accurate, robust, repetitive process plans and Catia/Pro-E models
- Be self-managed and motivated to work in a high-performance environment.
