Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Service Plumber with a Building Maintenance background to maintain commercial, industrial, and multi-residential plumbing and mechanical systems. The ideal candidate is proactive, mechanically inclined, and takes pride in their work. This opportunity is best suited for an individual that has already completed their 2nd year of their Plumbing and Gas schooling.
Duties
- Repair and install sinks, faucets, toilets, water and drainage lines
- Conducts scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems including boilers,air conditioning units, pumps, fans and domestic water systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair various equipment issues using your vast technical knowledge base.
- Complete digital inspection reports with clear notes and photos, and communicate deficiencies with office staff.
- Assist with facilities upgrades or renovations or general staffing requirements .
- Ensure safety standards are upheld by wearing the appropriate PPE or identifying potential hazards and implementing corrective actions.
- Provide excellent customer service to owners and maintenance staff
Skills
- Proven mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting building systems (HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, or electrical).
- Basic electrical troubleshooting experience.
- Ability to work independently in various environments (mechanical rooms, rooftops, parkades, ceiling spaces).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable using phones for digital reporting and documentation.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift tools/materials and perform manual labor.
Assets (Nice-to-Haves)
- 5th Class Power Engineer or related certification.
- Backflow testing certification.
- Additional trade experience in HVAC, Electrical, Sheetmetal, Boilers, or Building operations.

Pay: $30.00-$48.00 per hour
