Duties
- Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and drink orders using a POS (Point of Sale) system such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation and quality meet standards
- Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks responsibly, adhering to all food safety and alcohol service regulations
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, tables, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently through effective time management skills
- Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, answer questions about menu items, and create a welcoming atmosphere
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred; experience with serving or bartending is highly valued
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash register platforms
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods smoothly
- Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Basic math skills for cashiering, making change, and calculating tabs accurately
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Knowledge of alcohol serving laws and responsible beverage service practices is a plus
