Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in various kitchen tasks, ensuring a clean and organized work environment while supporting food preparation and service. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of our kitchen operations and providing excellent service to our guests.
Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
- Support chefs and cooks in cooking processes as needed
- Handle food safely and adhere to all food handling regulations
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as necessary
- Help serve meals during peak hours, ensuring timely delivery to guests
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices
- Experience in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask effectively
- A background in hospitality or food service is beneficial
