Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dental services including exams, fillings, extractions, crowns, root canals, and preventive care
- Diagnose oral health conditions and develop personalized treatment plans in consultation with patients
- Perform routine procedures such as cleanings, prosthodontics, and minor oral surgeries as needed
- Collaborate with hygienists, assistants, and support staff to deliver seamless, high‑quality care
- Utilize digital dental software and imaging (e.g., digital X‑rays, scanners, paperless charting)
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive strategies, and treatment implications
- Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to infection control protocols
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree from a recognized dental school, or NDEB equivalency certification for internationally trained dentists
- Current licence and in good standing with the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia (CDSBC)
- 1–3 years of experience in general dentistry (new grads are welcome to apply)
- Proficiency with digital radiography, scanners, and dental practice management software
- Strong diagnostic, manual dexterity, and patient communication skills
