Required Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of 1 year of current acute urology and general surgery experience; must be flexible and adaptable to work in a fast paced and changing environment, must not have any restrictions to walk, push, pull, transfer, bend, and carry; CPR must be current; N95 fit tested; MLL modules must be up to date or in progress; Connect Care trained; preference given if have Urology experience; must be able to work to full scope of practice and have all required special clinical competencies up to date. The successful applicant will be held accountable to their professional practice.
