Envoi is launching a brand-new delivery operation in Calgary, and we're hiring our very first drivers to get it off the ground. This is a ground-floor opportunity: the people who join us now aren't just taking routes, they're helping build something from day one. As the operation grows, the drivers who show up, perform, and lead by example will be first in line for bigger roles and more responsibility.
Envoi is a venture-backed, scaling startup solving one of the most challenging problems in the logistics and e-commerce delivery space: last-mile delivery. We obsess over everything that happens between the moment a customer clicks "submit order" and the moment the item arrives at their door, solving one problem after another to get it there in the most user-friendly and efficient way possible. Calgary is our newest market, and you can be part of it from the very beginning.
We're seeking responsible, professional Courier Drivers with great customer service skills who are fluent in English, as you'll be representing Envoi when delivering to our customers.
What you'll be responsible for
- Picking up packages at 2:00 pm from our depot in northeast Calgary and delivering them through an assigned route across the city.
- Following a predetermined route sent to you through our app, so you must have a working smartphone and data for GPS.
- Delivering with care, professionalism, and reliability, the standard our Calgary operation is built on.

What you need
For this role, you are a contractor, which means you will provide:
- Your own vehicle (fuel, insurance, and vehicle maintenance at your own cost).
- A smartphone with a data plan for GPS (iPhone or Android).
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Pay
Between $70.50 – $94.00 CAD per day at $23.50 CAD per hour, based on 3–4 hour starting routes. Daily pay grows as routes get longer over time.
Hours
We operate 7 days per week, with pickup at 2:00 pm. Routes run 3–4 hours to start.
Additional information
- Our drivers are independent contractors delivering packages with their own vehicles and are responsible for their own gas.
- You're paid a fixed rate per day based on the route we calculate, with extra time factored in for traffic and weather.
- A typical starting route looks like 25–35 packages in one densely clustered area, growing over time as the operation scales.
- We deliver small to medium-sized boxes, with possibly a few large boxes. (As an example, a 4-door sedan can fit 55+ packages.)
- Routes start at roughly 3–4 hours of work and will grow over time as the operation scales. Drivers are paid weekly via direct deposit every Monday. The first payment is subject to a one-week waiting period. If no routes are taken for a full week, the waiting period will apply again when work resumes.
- We conduct criminal background checks on all of our drivers.
