Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits. This role requires a strong commitment to patient education, preventive care, and maintaining a clean and safe environment in the dental office.
Brand new 14 op dental building to start construction in 2027.
Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental check-ups.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Assist in the management of patient records using Abeldent software.
- Maintain sterilization protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations.
-We provide full time support within sterilization.
- Provide excellent customer service to enhance patient experience and retention.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans and follow-up care.
Experience
- Must qualify or be licensed to practice hygiene in Nova Scotia, or be graduating from a licensed hygiene school this spring / summer.
