Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Childcare Program Manager to oversee the daily operations of our childcare programs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood education, skilled in working with children and individuals with disabilities, and capable of leading a team to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. This role involves planning, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with all licensing and safety regulations to promote optimal development and well-being of children in our care.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that foster learning and development.
- Supervise and support teaching staff, ensuring high-quality caregiving and educational standards.
- Coordinate daily schedules, including meal times, naps, and activities, to ensure a balanced routine.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to promote open communication and trust.
- Monitor the safety and well-being of children at all times, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Manage administrative tasks such as enrollment, attendance records, and compliance documentation.
- Provide training and mentorship to staff on best practices in early childhood education and caregiving.
- Collaborate with families to support children's individual needs, including those with disabilities or special requirements.
- Ensure the program complies with all licensing standards, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience in classroom management within early childhood education settings.
- Strong background in teaching or caregiving roles focused on early childhood development.
- Knowledge of best practices in early childhood education and child development principles.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise staff effectively.
- Compassionate approach to working with children and families from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to maintain a safe, nurturing environment that promotes learning and growth.
- Relevant certifications or credentials in early childhood education are required.
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
