Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm to set a welcoming tone.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely entry and communication with kitchen staff.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations to upsell menu items, enhancing the dining experience for guests.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities, while managing guest payments smoothly.
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in regularly, addressing concerns promptly, and providing exceptional customer service throughout their visit.
Requirements
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory; a passion for hospitality is essential.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that creates positive guest interactions.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and order calculations.
- Experience with food industry operations including serving, upselling, cashiering, and food preparation is highly desirable.
- Kitchen experience or hospitality background will be considered an asset in supporting team efforts.
- Must demonstrate good communication skills, teamwork orientation, and a proactive approach to guest services.

Pay: $17.60-$29.16 per hour
