In this role, you’ll be the driving force behind our company’s sales operations, providing expert support to our sales departments. Your key responsibilities will include developing and executing sales strategies to effectively reach and surpass sales targets, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and conducting market research to stay informed of industry trends and customer needs. Collaborating with the marketing team, you’ll create compelling sales materials and campaigns. Key Responsibilities:
- Champion the sale of contracts, and consistently meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets.
- Conduct client meetings by aligning with Yardstick’s esteemed sales methodology to foster trust and partnership.
- Cultivate impactful connections with key stakeholders, ensuring Yardstick remains the top-of-mind choice in critical decisions.
- Energize business acquisition through diverse strategies, including cold calling, community engagement, and leveraging a referral network.
- Participate in weekly sales forums, contributing to the collective sales acumen and maintaining precise sales funnel projections.
- Stay at the forefront of IT solutions by embracing continuous learning and industry trend analysis, adopting an educational sales approach.
- Diligently document all sales activities within Yardstick’s Customer Relationship Management system, ensuring data integrity and actionable insights.
- Regularly immerse in industry-specific events and association gatherings, expanding Yardstick’s influence and opportunities.
- Harness an established network of 100 entities within the IT and MSP sectors to generate new business opportunities for small to medium-sized enterprises.
- Secure at least one sale within the first 90 days to meet initial sales benchmarks.
- Visit the Edmonton office quarterly and ensure work-related travel remains below 10%.
Skills/Qualifications:
- At least a Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of triumphant experience in technology sales, with a preference for backgrounds in B2B technology, Managed Services, and IT infrastructure.
- Demonstrated prowess in nurturing customer relationships, adeptly navigating negotiations, and sealing deals.
- Proficient in articulating value-driven solutions to senior executives, translating complex IT propositions into compelling business outcomes.
- A genuine passion for engaging with customers and public audiences, by using exceptional organizational and presentation skills.
- Outstanding communication abilities, both verbal and written, coupled with active listening and a dedication to customer satisfaction.
- A valid driver’s license, and access to a dependable and insured vehicle. A clean driving record is essential, as the role involves travel.
